NEW FACILITY BRINGS EUROPEAN STANDARDS TO PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & ENGINEERING SUPPORT
Whale Enterprise PVT continues to expand its product development and engineering support capability, with the opening of a new Technical Engineering facility in Coimbatore, India.
There is now a dedicated team of eight engineers working out of the new offices, providing technical expertise on research & development and new vehicle production projects, as well as supporting the growing number of Whale products already used in water, sewage, refuse and recycling Industries.
The new Technical Engineering facility is equipped with the latest design software to ensure that the company, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Whale Tankers – the largest manufacturer of vacuum tankers and jetting equipment in Europe – continues to set the benchmark in design and engineering standards.
The growing Whale product range in India includes the CombiWhale, the SuperSucker, the highly engineered and specialised KaiserWhale as well as the Whale LiteJet range of light weight jetters. These high quality, highly efficient and productive machines are increasingly deployed in both the private and municipal sectors.
Whale Tankers Managing Director, Mr. Mark Warmington, officially opened the new facility during a recent visit to Coimbatore. Speaking at the opening, he said; “This latest investment highlights the importance that we place on both supporting our existing product range well as developing new,
market-leading products specifically for the needs of our Indian customers. By doing so, we can make sure that we remain at the cutting edge both in terms of the dedicated components that go into our products and the complete vehicles that we build here.”
